Pi-CT aims at providing the simplest -yet most effective- solution to customers to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of any production environment. This is done by providing services in the field of application packaging, application distribution and Patch Impact Assessment. Providing simple and uniform solutions holds part of the cost-effective operation of Pi-CT. After all, the main reason for a customer to implement application packaging and an application distribution mechanism is to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership of both software and hardware.

Patch Impact Assessment is aimed at extending application reliability and workstation stability by creating assessments proactively and monitoring for possible application problems when implementing patches, hotfixes and updates. The assessments are carried out virtually and do not interrupt the production environment. This assessment details the risks of implememting Operating System- and software updates on an operational production environment.
